Neely began working with Frank Tehel in 2006. Prior to joining his team, she worked in higher education as a faculty coordinator, hiring and scheduling graduate and undergraduate faculty for an adult studies program at Averett University. Neely earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Chowan University in 1999 and her Master of Business Administration degree in 2002 from Averett University.
Neely has a background in both investments and income tax preparation and planning. She is an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service, which allows her the privilege of representing clients before the IRS to solve their tax issues. She works with both individuals and small business owners to help them minimize their taxes and plan for their retirement. Neely lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Matt, and their son, Alex.

For the last 42 years, I have maintained an active tax preparation practice, providing tax advisory services including multi-generational estate planning, portfolio coordination of gains and losses, business succession planning, and non-qualified retirement income planning.
I became involved in personal tax planning upon graduating from Old Dominion University with a BS in accounting. In the early years from 1978 to 1981, I concentrated solely in the tax planning arena.
In addition to my passion for tax planning, I have two children and three grandchildren that keep me busy and I am actively involved in the community. In my free time, I enjoy ballroom dancing and golf.
